Redline Detection, LLC

Contributed by Bob Chabot

Redline manufactures industry-leading automotive diagnostic equipment. The company mission is to equip modern automotive technicians with highly effective tools that not only help them repair more vehicles, but also increase business. Redline was founded eight years ago by Ken Pieroni, widely respected as the founder of diagnostic leak technology for several automakers.   In 2007, Zack Parker bought the company and, with Pieroni’s help, has expanded the business dramatically.

Alex Parker, Vice President for Strategic Initiatives noted, “What sets Redline apart is our people and our passion to excel.  At Redline, we embrace the challenge to create innovative diagnostic solutions that exceed expectations. Our passion to excel extends to our product development and the absolute best quality components we use in every piece of equipment. At the end of the day, if we can help build the business of those who buy our products and make their job easier, it will build our business too.”

“Membership in ETI has been an enormous benefit to our company and has been instrumental in our success over the past year,” says Zack Parker, CEO of Redline Detection LLC. “We would highly recommend that any growing automotive industry business invest in ETI membership.”

She added, “Redline’s diagnostic leak detectors are shipped to over 30 countries worldwide.  Despite the sluggish economy, Redline plans to continue growing rapidly in the future.  We are investing in new technology, acquiring new products, and adding to our team. As we continue to expand geographically, we will also continue focus on developing custom diagnostic solutions to solve our partners' challenges.”  She added that Redline is poised to launch new groundbreaking technology in the very near future, details will be available shortly.

Redline Detection LLC joined ETI in 2011.  “ETI membership has helped Redline build relationships that have led to opportunities with automakers, ETI member tool and equipment manufacturers, as well as other aftermarket firms. For example, since joining ETI, we have been chosen to work with several automakers to develop unique diagnostic leak detection equipment specific to their needs,” Alex said.

“ETI membership has also provided Redline with key introductions to individuals who have been instrumental in our success over the past year,” she emphasized. “Getting to partner with aftermarket industry leaders, exemplifies the mutually beneficial partnerships that can result.”  For example, In August 2012, CEO Zack Parker accepted an appointment to fill an open ETI Board seat that expires in 2014.

Redline is constantly in search of new products, companies, talented team members and technology to continue its growth and revolutionize the way automotive technicians diagnose faults.

An example of how the company continually invests in innovative new technologies includes the Portable Leak Detection machine designed in collaboration with OEMs for automaker-specific applications.

Each product is engineered with onboard micro air compressors that eliminate the need for shop air or inert gas lines, and making them the most technologically advanced and most portable machines available on the market. Parker added that Redline is poised to launch new groundbreaking technology in the very near future. (Images Redline Detection LLC)
